Youth@Heart’s chance to win £1,000 festive boost
Youth@Heart is calling on supporters to nominate the charity to win a £1,000 festive boost as part of Ecclesiastical’s annual 12 days of giving Christmas campaign.
Now into its fifth year, the campaign sees 120 different charities an early Christmas gift of a £1,000 donation, with 10 winners announced each weekday from 6 to 21 December.
It’s quick and easy to nominate Youth@Heart online. Nominations are open from 8 November to 20 December the more nominations we get, the better chance we have at receiving this festive boost – so please help!
Winners will be drawn at random and the more times Youth@Heart is nominated the more chance it has of being selected.
The Charity provides a professional ACHD Youth Worker for young adults with CHD aged 15-24 and their families, across the South West and South Wales. Our ACHD Youth Worker holds an honorary NHS contract with the Bristol Heart Institute enabling us to work across hospital settings. The Charity funds two Youth Worker roles, so this festive boost for us would mean we could continue to provide young adults with: improved access to health teams and services; enable questions to be answered quicker; be an advocate between families and medical teams; attend appointments; visit inpatients; break down jargon; encourage young people to attend appointments even when they were reluctant to do so; support transition from children to adult services; removing barriers that may stand in a persons way!
Please help us continue changing lives of those we work with by nominating us.
Youth@Heart is encouraging everyone to use their social media channels to ask people to vote for them to give the charity the best possible chance of winning.
