We want to welcome you to our Youth@Heart youth area, in this area you can keep up to date about where we are, what we are doing, and how we support young people aged 15 – 24 with congenital heart disease and their families.
With restrictions starting to ease we know it can be an uncertain time, we have two dedicated, full time youth workers – one ACHD youth worker, the other our community and family youth worker.
Sometimes we just want to know that someone is there, to listen to us, to help support us when we need it. Our youth workers are here for you and to help connect you with a community of people. We also love a good event and will be arranging fun activities and events over Summer 2021, a chance for you to meet other people with CHD and have a good time with people who understand what it is like!

Providing a support and information service that reduces the isolation, fear and the lack of understanding experienced by families when a child is diagnosed with having half a working heart.
The Network brings together clinicians, managers, patient/family representatives and commissioners from across the region, who work together to support patients of all ages with a congenital heart condition, and their families/carers.
The Bristol Heart Institute (BHI) is the hub for the regional adult congenital heart service for the South West and South Wales. All invasive cardiology and cardiac surgery for congenital heart disease is undertaken here with some outpatient clinical care provided in partnership with district hospitals in the region.
There are over 250,000 adults who were born with a heart condition (CHD) living in the UK. The Somerville Foundation (previously GUCH Patients Association) exists to create a world where they receive excellent medical care, and lead happy, healthy lives.
